Members of The Isle of Man Pensioners' Association will normally meet at 11am on the  last Wednesday of every month (excluding December) at The Archibald Knox Hotel Meeting Room, Avondale Road, Onchan.  (This is at the side of Onchan Shoprite, and has ample parking).

Membership is open to all who are sympathetic to the aim of the Association, which is to obtain the Manx Pension Supplement for all those who have been resident on the Isle of Man for 10 or more years.

Based on the Chislett Report of 1992, the supplement was introduced in 1993 at the rate of £5 a week for individuals and £8 for couples.  It now amounts to an addition of 50% to the basic state pension.  To qualify, one needs to have paid at least 10 years of NI contributions directly to the Manx government scheme.
